2048 doesn’t stop at the 2048 tile. The game ends when no slide changes the 4×4 board.
Minesweeper has 3 board sizes, up to 99 mines on Expert. Open your first square in the middle: on Beginner that often opens about two thirds of the safe squares.
In Block Puzzle, the 3 pieces in the tray never rotate. A game often ends with the 3×3 square stuck there, so keep a 3-by-3 space open.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these puzzles timed?
- Minesweeper and Sudoku are. Minesweeper keeps your best time for each board size, Sudoku for each level. 2048 and Block Puzzle have no clock.
- Can I play them on a phone?
- Yes. 2048 takes a swipe and Block Puzzle a drag from the tray. In Minesweeper, hold a square for half a second to flag it, or turn on Flag mode so a tap places a flag.
